Good but ate my microSD card

Easy to install with an adapter that needs to be purchased separately. My computer recognizes all the different "drives"/card readers. BUT This is a big BUT. I put in a microSD card from the dash cam and it went all the way into the slot and got stuck. I tried to pull it out with tweezers but it didn't work and it got stuck even deeper. So I need to buy a new microSD card and get one that has either a microSD to SD adapter or a microSD to USB adapter because I can't use the microSD slot right…

Poorly built and too short for most suitcases

I'll start with the positives. It works. and it works with linux. The build quality is not very good. There are too few slots for each card on the front panel. I cannot insert an SD card into the SD slot because it is too thin. Same problem with CF slot. Also, the reader's body is too short for most cases. I had to adjust mine to sit flush with the front of my PC case. And the last problem concerns the LED backlight. They're very bright and protrude slightly from the faceplate, so you'll still…

only light. for computers and accessories

Well, it lights up. That's all. On my PC this shows up as 4 removable drives with no media and none of the slots work. Only the SD card lights up with a white "Accessing" light, but my computer still doesn't recognize the drive. Absolutely nothing wrong with my PC, by the way. I just got this to fill an empty disk slot with something I can use but never will. I think it still works for that. Like I said. it lights up. So it fills the empty space with a blue LED and a bunch of useless slots. I…

It works. And that's it.

You definitely get what you pay for. The best I can say about this product is that it works and works reliably. However, its use aggravates the situation due to poor design and construction. The installation was incomplete due to the short, non-standard size of the device. My 3.5" bay requires 4 screws, but due to the reader's small size, only the front 2 will fit. I had to double-tape it to keep the back from dangling. The front bezel is about a millimeter from the actual card. the slots and…

Does the job but feels flimsy.

This is a decent card reader that does what it's supposed to do, but it's built and looks cheap. As? Let's see: - the supplied screws do not fit and do not hold in the case - too thin. This is an item that you're constantly pulling and pushing when inserting cards, which is unacceptable. I used better quality screws that I had on hand. The cable isn't connected by a strain relief, but simply protrudes from a hole punched in the thin, sharp casing - it will wear out if handled enough. Well, it's
