Review on Shimano Deore CS M770 9 Speed Cassette by Chris Benton

I use this cassette in a 1x9 configuration. I have it with a narrow and wide Race Face 36 tooth cog and a Shimano XTR 10 Gear chain combined. (In case you're wondering, yes, the 10-speed chain works with 9-speed transmissions.) It shifts flawlessly, is very quiet and remarkably smooth. In my experience, high quality SRAM cassettes are slightly lighter but less durable than Shimano's. This XT cassette has a solid construction. I ride hard and have serious leg strength. I will take a few grams less starch every day of the week. That's a great cassette. Don't think twice. Buy it.
