Not what I expected from Hunter
The glass ball is very fragile. I sent back the first fan because the globe was broken. The second ball cracked during installation. Bought a replacement from another manufacturer. The fan "whispers" does not. There's a constant hum that's louder in one direction than the other. Not what was expected from Hunter. UPDATE (04/18/2018): The fan has been getting louder and louder since installation. The motor clicks at every rpm and now something is dripping into the glass bowl. I have had MUCH better experience with Hampton Bay fans and have ordered a replacement for this fan. I can't wait for this thing to go away!
