This was one of my best buys for my 2007 Cadillac Escalade. The dealer wanted to charge between $400 and $600 to fix the headlight assembly. I received this part and repaired the assembly myself for a fraction of what the dealer would have charged me. The item arrived quickly and corresponds to the description. It was almost identical to the OEM part in my headlight assembly. The item was well packed. The packaging had a lot of warnings and some helpful instructions. I'm not a mechanic and I don't know much about cars other than what I learned on youtube. But you can install this part yourself with the right tools and patience. This shouldn't take more than an hour. After doing this once, you can complete the installation in half the time. Remember to make sure the headlight assembly is completely dry. I used my wife's hair dryer to remove any moisture from the assembly. I've had the ballast installed for over a month now and it works great.
