After removing the paneling and installing drywall, I decided to just finish the walls before doing the ceiling work. Now that I'm working on the ceilings I wanted to get plastic to protect the walls from paint splatters. I was about to buy regular plastic wraps but saw these. worked great. This allows you to attach the plastic to the wall and then position it. Once it's close I apply a small amount of tape to hold it in place. I'll come back later and seal the whole seam. I also like the fact that you can lock it up instead of fully unfolding it. That way you can set it up against the wall when you're ready to get to work.
