I bought this pot to replace the big ugly white plastic Squatty Potty I've had since 2014. This is a good alternative. It is made of layers of laminate rather than solid bamboo. It discreetly slides under our oblong toilet so I don't have to fold it up. It works ok, but not so easy that I want to do it every day with my arthritis in my thumb. The finish is polyurethane (?) so it appears to be waterproof. When the anti-slip tape is applied to the legs, they must be folded at exactly the same time to achieve the best possible closure. My stool's legs don't open fully to 90 degrees, but tilt inward. The company name is at the top and is too big.
