29 x 2.35 Johnny Watts. So far I'm very happy with them. I rode about 150 miles on tarmac, gravel and mud. Before that I ran the Schwalbe plus mtb plus 29x2.25 marathon. I was looking for a tire that could drive on asphalt, gravel and off-road. The MTB Plus was good, but the Johnny Watts are a better fit for what I do. They roll better on asphalt and are at least as good in mud. MTB Plus is higher and slightly narrower. With a durable tread in the middle, you'll feel like you're riding on a razor blade. Johnny Watts is slightly wider but not as tall and has a flatter middle. You feel more planted. I run them on 35mm IW rims (internal width). I've never run the MTB Plus at the recommended minimum of 30psi, more like 20/23 front and rear. Johnny Watts can run at 23psi and so far I've used them at 23/25 pressure. The mtb plus had a firmer ride, even at low pressure. The sidewalls have become stiffer. I ran both tires tubeless, although they don't and have had no problems. I wanted to get 29 x 2.6 but based on MTB Plus I was afraid they would be too big for my frame but now I think they would fit. Maybe next time.
