Review on πŸš— Maximize Vehicle Safety with Auto Meter BCT-200J Intelli-Check II Electrical System Analyzer by Jarrod Zuvers

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Easy to use with 10 types of tests

Intelli-Check is very simple and user-friendly. It is used to test battery charge, starting system and voltage drop. As promised, all you have to do is follow the menu that appears on the screen to get the results. However, the included guide will walk you through all the screen options and what the results mean. It performs 10 different 24V battery and/or electrical tests: PM test, battery pack test (up to 4 batteries), single battery test, VDrop charging cable test (single/dual), alternator power output test (standard or remote), main Jumper cable VDrop (single/separate), Magnetic circuit VDrop test - with or without IMS, Key circuit VDrop test (with/without OCP), Rear door VDrop tests, Alternator dyno tests. We tested two car batteries with mild results. One result said the battery was too low to check the result and the second said there was enough charge. I can't imagine this being needed for a home mechanic, but it would come in handy for a mechanical shop.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine
