These are ideal for attics, shops or any other place where you need lighting but don't want to install it. We use them in the attics of our house. We bought LED bulbs to use in it. The lamps consume 23 watts, but correspond to 100 watts. The length of the cord covers the entire length of each of our shots. If you have a regular sized attic, you probably only need two of these. Their only downside is that the switch is closer to the plug. I think it's about two meters from the outlet. It would be better if the on/off switch was closer to the end of the bulb. It's very inconvenient to go where there's an outlet to turn this on.
