Review on Enhance Your Audio Experience with Audioengine W3 Wireless Audio Adapter: Low Latency, Audiophile DAC, Extended Range, Stream from Multiple Devices to Speakers and Subwoofer by Tracy Martin

Perfect fit for remote subwoofer

I first looked for a wireless subwoofer kit and didn't even think of looking for a regular (full spectrum) wireless audio adapter. Then I bought this Audioengine W3. This is exactly what I needed to share a home theater subwoofer with KRK VXT4 mantle speakers. The W3 adapter doesn't need to be configured, just plug it in and they're paired. One of them is marked as the sender and the other as the recipient. The sub sounds great, I see no difference to the cable. The USB plug comes in handy as I already have USB ports on the back of my home theater equipment so I have less cable clutter if I don't need to plug in another power supply. Now that I think about it, wireless kits labeled for subwoofers are labeled as such for marketing purposes only, since any (high quality) kit that transmits the full audio spectrum, like this one, will transmit sub-frequencies.
