I liked that BOV Control gave us an easy way of collecting all our breeding parameters in one place with minimal effort from myself or any member within my team at work! The software itself was very user friendly for such large scale projects so there wasn't much we didn’t like about it-it did exactly what you needed without being too complex which made implementation easier than expected as well.
It's not perfect but i can see how useful this could be when used correctly if your looking into big cattle operations where accuracy matters most then perhaps look elsewhere? However small/medium sized farms do seem able adapt fairly easily however maybe more training would help people get their head around its use quicker?? We are using BC mainly through herd health management (disease control) purposes though some aspects have been adapted towards improving animal welfare by recording things regarding movement patterns etc.. This has also helped me understand calf feeding practices better since they.
