I bought in August '16 to keep the trailer battery charged during storage. I connected it to my plastic propane cap. While this may not be the best spot for the sun, I believe it will suffice. It had everything you need to connect to the battery. The only thing I had to buy was four mounting screws and having the mounting holes already on the solar charger was great. It didn't work initially. I contacted support via email and Rich Schwartz responded to all my questions quickly (usually within minutes). I ended up having to install a decoupler as I just couldn't find a drain in my trailer. I've had it for three months now and it works great.
