Wanted to renovate a laundry room that was on an unheated porch. It was the choice of lighting that made me realize that installing a skylight would double the work. Because it looks like a skylight. I have 3000K on the setting, on the dimmer. It is level with the new ceiling, about 1 inch deep. The only problem not mentioned with the installation is that you need a third hand to hold the jig while twisting the wires together before inserting it into the box or hole where it should be. I used a short bungee core to hang it up. i really like it
