Review on πŸ’‘ Streamlight 73001 Nano Light Keychain Flashlight - Miniature LED, Black - 10 Lumens by Farhad Cantu

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Built like a tank, with one fatal flaw.

Let me first say the build quality of this little flashlight is fantastic. I've had it since 2011 and it still works great. Very bright, super small and always with me on the keys It has been invaluable to me in many situations and I only changed the batteries once Now for the bad the lid accidentally unscrews on its own It fell apart once in my pocket which wasn't a problem as it had all the parts I was able to restore it.The second time around it eventually fell apart when I was getting my keys out of my pocket on the gravel driveway.I noticed it was gone after a few days and had no idea where the parts were.Thankfully I was able to for almost two weeks later find the head and all the batteries in the driveway and noticed the light reflection from one of the batteries.Everything was covered with rain, all the filaments were covered in sand and there were nicks on the head (I'm almost positive it was ridden at least once). I quickly brushed the sand from the thread, twisted it back and set off. I believe the sand residue on the threads really improved the situation as the head never fell off again. More than three years have passed, everything works perfectly. The head can still be turned easily with one hand, and rain, sand and bumps don't seem to bother it. All in all it's a great light, but only if you can keep it from falling apart. **UPDATE - December 8th, 2017** It has been almost three years since I first wrote about this review and it is still relevant. I seem to have changed the batteries once since buying it in 2011. It's been hanging on my keychain constantly for almost seven years now and still works like a champ. I haven't had any issues with my head loosening or falling off since the first incident so I expect it will be on my keys for a few more years.
