The main part of the handle is very heavy and strong. And the inserts snap right into place. You may need a pair of pruning gloves to avoid cutting your fingers, especially on a single cut operation as it is VERY sharp. I love how everything fits neatly into my storage box and I was able to ditch a few bulkier graters and use these instead. Great value for the product as a whole.
