Installing this water filter was a simple task and after 2 months of use it is still in perfect condition. Which is nice I didn't have to pull out the fridge and turn off the water. However, I have a separate reverse osmosis system under the kitchen sink leading to the fridge and it is very important to close the shut off valves. If you don't do this, the old filter may burst due to the pressure in the line. I did that and there was no leak. It was very easy. I'm glad I bought them, the price is much cheaper than buying original Samsung water filters.
