Review on πŸ” Glass Polishing Kit: Cerium Oxide Polishing Powder with Felt Polishing Wheel Set for Windscreen & Glass by Rick Gondoras

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Worked fine since I followed the process.

The kit worked very well on a windscreen that was badly scratched by the wipers. The tracks were almost completely removed and the car became much more tolerable for night driving and night driving in the rain. I used the powder first as a test, then ended up using the second smallest disc, then the thinnest disc and then the cerium oxide mix for the fastest results. I used soapy water to lubricate the grinding wheels. I just used a cordless drill for the driver's side and a dual-action polisher with a 3" pad only for the cerium oxide stage on the passenger's side. Definitely worth the money and time spent preventing the windshield from being replaced. I easily spent 2-3 hours on the project. Cerium oxide will go everywhere when it detaches from the pad, so prepare for a thorough cleaning or use other methods to minimize the affected area.
