These lights are pretty amazing. I was very surprised how responsive they are when changing the color and/or playing music. They connect very quickly as well and very easily. The Bluetooth of course does not have a very long range, so if I had anything negative to say about them, that would be it. Would be great if they were wifi. Also, the app has to be open to have them respond to music as the lights themselves don't respond to the music. They respond through the app. So, if you have a spare device that you can download the app to, then your phone won't be tied up using the app. Otherwise honestly, these lights are amazing for the backyard like I have them set up.
