Not 30,000 hour life span (less than 5,000 hours)

These have been advertised as having a 30,000 hour life. A great value if true, but sadly not. They have started failing at &lt;5,000 hours in a controlled timer controlled setting. At first they begun flickering, then begun burning at about 1/10 CCT. warranty states 36 months.UPDATE: the sellers rep has contacted me and a replacement order has been shipped. I do appreciate this effort, but it does not correct the fact that the bulbs do not last as long as advertised. buyers be advised.I wish more people would post honest reviews.

Pros

Bulbs were a direct fit replacement and were a much needed improvement over the incandescent bulbs.

Cons

Returning because lights flicker -- no dimmer involved
