This caliper works well but requires preparation for installation. The rebuild process will damage the brake hose mounting surface, preventing the gasket from seating properly unless the damaged metal collar near the threaded hole for the banjo bolt is filed down. This is likely due to the cores being roughly handled or dropped during the cleaning process. The coating on the caliper wears off quickly and rusts almost immediately.
