The napkins are strong and absorbent. There is another review that claims they are 1 ply and cheap. This is false, they are thick. I have used them for entertaining events both for dining and in the restrooms/powder rooms. They are elegant, convenient, relatively inexpensive, and the signature of tasteful respect for guests.
