We bought a house with one of these already attached to the back door. The previous owners bought one but they had cut it in half to allow their dogs to come in and out. So we repurchased another one cuz our dogs will walk through the screen and even if it's shut they know what it is. When we went to remove the other one we realized it was just velcroed with the tack through the velcro. We were able to remove the old one and mount the new one to the old velcro stripping with ease. The old velcro stripping is so well stuck we didn't need to use the new velcro that came with the product. We literally just threw the new one on shove the tax through it and have had no issues. This is literally an amazing product is so sturdy the magnet strip goes all the way down it even has little extra velcro stickies keep it shut a little better in the Wind which is awesome the Sickies are in the middle and at the bottom. We've bought those ones as seen on TV and they last maybe a month because we have four nieces and nephews that come over regularly. I'm constantly asking them not to hang off of it as they walk out the door cuz they use it essentially as a railing to set down the steps LOL. But it hasn't ripped it hasn't come off it haven't done anything these kids can kill thing
