Review on 🔦 Esimen LED IR Illuminator: Enhancing Oculus Quest 2 Tracking with Infrared Flood Light by Miriam Moore

I know a lot of people probably get this so they can play in the dark (and it worked great for me when I tested it), but for me that was it mainly to increase the light in my room during the day, which never seemed good enough to keep track of the Oculus Quest 2. I removed the plastic cover from this mount and used a small piece of aluminum foil to cover the light sensor, then I replaced the plastic cover and set the lantern up against the wall behind me, facing the middle of the floor. I then plugged it into a switch I keep on my desk and only turn it on when I want to play VR. Closing the light sensor means it's always on, so I needed an on/off switch to control the switch. Works perfectly! No more missed hits or floating controllers due to poor tracking. Good product!
