I think it's my fault. I didn't read carefully enough. Good quality shorts, the fabric is soft, they fit well, the mesh insert is tight, tight weaving, the elastic and lace are excellent. Patterns are fun and stylish. The problem is that I was looking for shorts that weren't that long. But obviously the shorter style is only for toddlers. Large boy sizes are long. Long shorts actually limit mobility and they are advertised as the opposite. And if your boy is smaller and stockier, he may well wear a gaucho. But it's my fault that I didn't look carefully enough at the details. These are good shorts and they get a lot of use. But I will have to keep looking for shorter runs.
