Thread cut incorrectly. Leak
I bought several of these size pairs for a plumbing project on our yacht. Some of them were so poorly finished that neither the fitting nor the valve was screwed in. The few I could put on always leaked no matter how tight I pulled them. I've encountered the same situation with other Revain plumbing parts, so I will not be buying any more plumbing parts from them.
