Review on 🔧 Cal-Van Tools SAE In-Line Flaring Tool Set, Multiple Sizes, One-Size-Fits-All, 164 by Ans Brownlee

I find this tool much easier to use than the standard wing nut. I was able to make 1/4" extensions to the vehicle very easily. Why did I change my rating to 1 star? The first 3/16" reamer I tried broke the clamp block teeth and wouldn't hold the cord in place On closer inspection I found that the 5/16" yoke teeth look the same. I have come to the conclusion that these two clamp blocks were not properly machined at the factory. These two clamps are also very different from the 1/4" clamp. I have contacted Cal-Van about this a couple of times and have not received a response. I will never buy any other Cal-Van tool again. I happily give double the credit much for a Snap-on or Matco because I know they stand behind their tools, even Harbor Freight endorses their products.
