The LEDs on them didn't disappoint and the fact that the hub lights up is cool too, but I really need a quiet computer. They're advertised as quiet, but they don't quite meet, or even come close to, the specs compared to what's on the list. I had no issues with fan control being limited to the remote, but the two have nothing to do with the pulsing engine sound, "off" or "full speed". That said, if I want them to be silent, then they're just decorative (not rotating). And when I need airflow, my system is very audible. I've read a number of reviews about them being quiet. If you need silent fans, don't order them. I hope this saves someone the hassle of installing them on your system and deciding whether to settle for noise or retire them.
