Review on Chamberlain G8808CB-P Garage Door Opener 8 Ft Rail Extension Kit - Compatible with Whisper Drive Plus Models and Includes Replacement Belt by Quintin Gore

I have bought two WD962KEVs (Home Depot) since my 15 year old master passed away last year. I assembled one without first realizing that I have 8ft tall doors and only 7ft of support out of the box. The box also has clear and simple instructions, another bolt with a compressed spring (not a technical term but in case like me you realized too late that you need that extension kit and have already loosened the spring), a longer manual mount. Rope, a new harness, a longer forward rail (the extension itself that attaches to the headgear), another bracket, a longer angle brace, and a few more hardware pieces, but that's the gist. Installation was easy as I had to slide back 3 sets of serrated "locks" (which prevent each rail from falling apart) to remove the "old" front rail and attach the new one. I had to remove the pulley from the old guide to put it on the new one, fit the new belt and use the newly included spring bolt and voila! You can start installing!
