Excellent product. I attached it to the center front frame (2" x 6") of my new workbench. It has a very long cord that allowed me to reach the outlet. The protector is built into my workbench because I added 3/4" plywood after installing the protector. The plywood sticks out 2" from the front of the workbench so the surge protector doesn't get in the way. Surge protectors are very useful when You make a mistake when drilling or cut incorrectly as the guard turns off the product Must have saved my wrist once.
