I got my new thermometer today and so far it's great. I tested it with ice water and another thermometer and it showed perfectly accurate readings. I love that this thermometer is waterproof and I don't have to worry about spreading germs in the kitchen with a meat thermometer that could have bacteria on it. I tested it by rinsing it fully under water and it still works and doesn't seem to be leaking water anywhere. This item also comes with an extra battery. Nothing you buy now will give you extra battery. I'm 100% satisfied so far. It definitely exceeded my expectations because it was very affordable.
