Review on 🔒 Erickson 34415 Pro Series Black Ratchet Tie-Down Straps, Pack of 2, 1-Inch x 10-Foot by Richard Rosa

I bought 10 of these in Feb 2017, we had 2 8 belt UTVs and a 2 belt tank. We got caught in an unexpected downpour that was pretty heavy and the harnesses got wet. As of 7/3/2020 - 9 of them are not retracting because the springs are rusted, broken and out of order. This renders them useless and I had to throw them all away. If they used a stainless steel spring these straps would be great but as there is no way to protect them from rain when on an open trailer they fail due to the springs rusting. Great concept but poor quality parts used. I've only used them 5 times so I'm sure they haven't failed due to wear and tear or mishandling. I'm happy to pay a little more and get a product that lasts a reasonable amount of time.
