I have rust and debris on the bottom of the toilet that won't rub off. I didn't want to use caustic solutions that would require me to plug and drain the water from the bowl - it seemed like too much work. I figured these pumice sticks would do the trick. Although they fixed about 90% of the issue, it was very hard work to get this far. Pumice wears away as it cleans, leaving behind granular particles that won't wash off on their own. I had to use a bucket of water to "push" them down the drain, also knowing that they were most likely just sitting in the pipes, preventing the sewage from completely flushing down the drain. I think I can use the leftover sticks for a stale scraping.
