Good product and much stronger than Rukus pure plastic and PVC filters. Just google the filter with a hammer and see how quickly you can have a bad day if it doesn't work. As others have said, the demo video is WRONG and they installed the filter in the wrong orientation. The narrow tip of the triangle/arrow - EXIT to the water flow. Even the documents and charts attached to this filter are FALSE. The words 123FILTER, when read, mean the direction of water flow. =====> A few installation notes and conclusions.#1. Use at least 20 turns of Teflon tape for this adjustment. I had a slow micro drip (a drip every 10 minutes or so) #2 Use 2 pipe wrenches when making connections. one on each side to get enough torque on that #3, every house line is different but I suggest shark fittings for this (I used a 1" female thread to have the highest flow rate possible) #4. Buy one 1/2" diameter plastic pipe for this filter. I have mine that goes straight into my booster pump so I don't have to pull out a bucket to empty it. #5. Plan ahead to install this. I suggest this one Putting filters UNDER your water filters so that when you shut off the water to the bypass you can open this valve and drain all the water.My water came under the filters and I put it back in place before moving on to the 3 stage filters #6. The water filter "shakes" back and forth with a high flow rate, which seems strange. In the end I drained the water and checked the seal, everything is fine, but it seems strange. Basically, I'm ic h satisfied with this price. Just schedule a light rinse and use teflon tape (at least 20 threads). The biggest hurdle was that the documentation made me think about the installation and water consumption. I hope they update their records and redo their video setup.
