Review on 🐔 Handmade Vintage Decorative Small Desk Clock - Battery Operated Metal Chicken Figurine Shaped Shelf Clock by Too-arts by Russell Robertson

This clock does not have a back compartment cover so the battery and controls are visible. I wanted it to be in a place where both sides are visible, turning a very cute watch into an ugly one with battery and controls. The "hommee-us" seller claims their product does not have a cover, but when I interviewed other buyers, some of them said they received a cover with a backing from the same listing. The open back in one of the images in no way means that this product comes without a battery cover, most assume it shows the customer the battery and the location of the controls. When I asked the seller about this and asked them to please send me a case, they just repeatedly told me to "check the ad description". Nowhere in the description does it say there is no cover and just because one of the photos shows a battery compartment doesn't mean there won't be a cover for it. I think the seller may now update their description but at the time of my purchase the watch was sold with a case back missing and the product page never mentioned this odd fact. I've never seen a watch, especially one so decorative, constructed to be easily visible without a battery cover.
