Much better than I expected, especially for the price

Ok I was looking for a cheap DVR - just for security and to document everything that may happen during my daily commute. I got this and really wasn't expecting the video quality it has. I'm particularly impressed with the video quality at night - most cameras make a lot of "noise" in the dark - but this one still looks great at night - and even during the day when pointed directly at the sun it still works. good and maintains good vision. The application, which you can install on your phone, is easy to use and allows you to connect the dash cam to your phone, allowing you to download video clips directly to your phone without taking out your memory card. The camera's menu functions are easy to use (you need to read the manual to do it right). I like that the recording starts automatically when you start the car and stops when you get out. I was able to mount the camera on top of the windshield behind the rearview mirror so I barely see it while driving. The kit included a reversing camera (I didn't connect it). It comes with the tape needed to attach it to the windscreen and a long power cable to connect it to the cigarette lighter. Overall - I'm very happy with it. high video quality, good menu structure, easy to use app and good price. . it was a great purchase. The video I've attached shows clips taken day and night to show how good the video is. ***Update after a few months of use - I'm still very happy with the dash cam but I'd like to turn off the voice prompts - the ones for red/green lights are ok - I can deal with that but there are other voice prompts that do pop up while driving - all of a sudden - and we can't figure out what he's saying, there are several different messages he's going to say and the ONLY ones we can understand are the red/green light. When these messages are played, nothing appears on the screen, which helps me understand what's being said, so it's a bit frustrating. I've looked through the Dashcam app and settings and it doesn't look like there's an option to turn off the voice prompts.
