We bought this knife for our 2 year old who always wants to help out in the kitchen. The first day my husband wanted to do a trial run and let our son chop carrots. His chops are like a pro. This item is ideal to keep your child busy while cooking. We will definitely be buying one for our other son when he is big enough to help. It's a lot smaller than it looks but perfect for a small hand. We give it two little thumbs up.
