I use this case with a 2018 iPad Pro. This is a good quality case that performs well in some areas and could do better in other areas. Whether this case is right for you depends on how you use it. If you mainly use it in the horizontal position, open the case and fold it back, that's great. However, if you plan to use it standing, you'll get mixed results. Pros: - The magnets are strong enough to easily attach to the case - The valve gives an extra layer to keep the case closed (even without a valve it stays closed). quite good) - I don't have an apple pencil but it would fit in nicely (I've tried a regular pencil) with a flap to keep it in place - the sleep/wake function works well with the lid. Cons - I open the back/peel the case off the iPad instead of the front of the case because I want to pull the flap to open the case - that's where the stand isn't very stable on low settings.
