Lately I've had my kids bring lunch to school now and then. We love the bento idea because it's colorful, imaginative, and fun. I ordered them hoping to use them for sauces rather than one of the large containers that came with their lunch set. They're great for thicker sauces or condiments like ranch, ketchup, etc. When we used them for soy sauce, my kids' dinners ran out by the time they were ready to eat. They're also quite small, so this will likely come in handy for those counting calories. I have to say my kids still love them because they get compliments on how their dinners look. I also love them because they reduce the amount of ranch we go through with veggies, usually it's "Want some veg with that ranch?" type of kids.
