My wife doesn't like wine left open for more than a day, but often wants a glass in the evening when we can't finish the bottle. I gave it to her as a solution to the problem! The vacuum pump and corks are very easy to use and although they never "seal" the wine like new, they allow us to use a bottle of wine for a week instead of a day. It was worth it for me if only because my wife doesn't worry about opening a bottle of wine just to have a glass because now she can keep the rest of the bottle to herself and in a few days it will be a lot yummy. It's airtight (and wine-tight) and won't leak when we put the bottles back on their side in the wine cooler. No more wasting wine!
