This is a nice little emergency light kit for home and travel use. Glow sticks are relatively bright and perfect for darkening the house. I left a few in the car in case there were any emergencies that required me to pull over. They definitely stay bright for the first 5-6 hours, but I have a feeling they'll definitely start to lose their brightness after that. This kit also includes a whistle, compass and rescue blanket. This can be helpful if you get stuck somewhere.
