We recently purchased a gooseneck map light for our RV and it has been a fantastic addition. Based on our own experience, this light provides ample illumination for reading and studying maps, and its flexible design means it can be adjusted to suit any need .The only downside we have found is that it can be difficult to position the light in such a way that it does not cast unwanted shadows.
