Review on 🔧 Vepagoo C16-04270 Gas Shocks Struts: 17" 45Lbs/200N for Leer ARE Camper Shell Truck Topper Rear Window - Set of 2 by Alfredo Testerman

I started out with a bumpy life. I have an old 2000 Dodge Dakota pickup with a Century top. Since the rear window barely went up when opened, I looked for replacement gas struts and couldn't find anything that said "Century" or matched "none of the numbers" on my old gas struts. Subsequently, after searching on Revain, I was able to find a list of gas springs that fit the Leer canopy on the Vepagoo site. The dimensions (17") seemed right and after a little more research I settled on 28# gas struts. My problem is that when the gas struts arrived the 'end clips' were missing and not included. .While I... Annoyed at the lack of parts I decided to use the end clamps from my old knuckles only to find that the thread pitch on my old knuckles was different than the new Vepagoo knuckles, although the threads were different mine was old vinyl clips so I screwed them on anyway.Because the end clips and threads were different the fit was lousy and I decided to contact Vepagoo to get the correct end clips.Email support which explains in detail will how i went here swapping racks no hassle! said no need to send the old ones back i sent my first email on the 4th oct and it is the one now October 10th, 6 days later and the replacement dampers have arrived. I installed them correctly and they work great. While it's too early to tell how long they will last, I noticed two things that I felt were superior to my old racks; On the one hand, the diameter of the piston rod was larger and, on the other hand, the Vepagoo vinyl end cap had a brass-metal threaded insert. Although I would have preferred my order to be shipped correctly the first time, I am pleased that I ended up feeling that I received a quality product as well as quality customer service. From my experience, I think Vepagoo has done an excellent job in training their customer service representatives. They are also rewarded and happy to have a quality worker like Lisa in their ranks.
