The gas stops for the doors on my topper are easy to install but they don't work properly. You must COMPLETELY open the hatch door when the latch is open. I have to MANUALLY open the hatch door all the way or the hatch will obstruct access to the back of the truck. Once I open it all the way, the door stays in place, but I'm uncomfortable opening the hatch manually so as not to bang my head. Racks have an accurately calculated estimate, like the original - 40 pounds.

I used them for a couple of weeks before writing this review. They work very well. Great replacement for my broken racks. Not only do they hold the window well, but they also keep it closed. You push down in the opposite direction. One "cons", maybe even more so on my part, is that I bought the exact same size I replaced. This is a disadvantage as the window now opens higher than I expected or wanted. If you're not looking for it, just reduce the size. But I can't fault the product.

I installed them on my boat within 6 weeks and the damper is complete. Doesn't stay open at all. I thought I could get at least a few years out of them, but no. But also full of summer. Update, the support team did a great job contacting me and providing me with a replacement and making sure the replacement works. Installed new dampers and they work well. If they fail again in such a short time I will update. But the company gets 5 stars for making sure to get it right.
