Good price but not the best for absolute beginners

This product represents excellent value for money with a wide range of parts and I have to say overall I was very impressed. When you open it up, you'll find yourself getting more and more excited as you pull out component by component, imagining all the possibilities. The first thing I did when I got mine was sort through all the components and compare them to the parts list. Everything was in stock and accounted for. It also includes a couple of small reference cards that include a GPIO (input/output) reference card and a lesson on reading resistor color codes that are especially helpful for beginners. And with all the parts included (and again a good price compared to the amount of stuff you get) I'm happy to welcome this kit to my component collection and would recommend it to anyone. I recommend it to absolute beginners. That doesn't mean you have to be an expert, but if you've never used a Raspberry Pi before, this might not be the best choice for you for two reasons. Firstly, the kit doesn't actually include the Raspberry Pi itself. This is clearly mentioned in the advert so I can't really complain, but it's worth considering that a complete beginner will probably want a kit that has all the parts needed, so he doesn't have to figure out what else to buy as long as they know what they're doing a little bit more. Even though this kit comes with a tutorial, it's not the best I've seen for a complete beginner. However, if you already own a Raspberry Pi and know enough not to be completely confused by the technology, this kit may be just what you're looking for. Because you can use the Pi you already own, you get a lot of great components for less than what you would pay for the full starter kit that comes with the Pi board.
