I got this stand to help with some ergonomic issues I had during the adventure known as "working from home during the 2020 pandemic”. I like the way it holds my laptop and I was able to adjust it so the laptop monitor matches the second monitor. The problem is that the stand is kind of "springy" or "bouncy". It vibrates when anything touches my table. To solve this problem, I rolled up some old towels and tucked them under the coaster. This helped dampen the vibrations, so everything is fine now. It's possible this design could just vibrate with multiple adjustments, no matter how solidly made, but my towel filling is fine.
