Review on 🍷 FastRack 1 gal Glass Wine Fermenter with Rubber Stopper and Airlock – Multicolor Kit for Optimal Fermentation (B014T3LHFA) by Adam Cummings

I bought a couple of these bottles with corks and double bubble tops to make mead. The bottles arrived on time and in good condition. Good thick glass, strong handle. No problem. "Double Bubble Locks" were not included. I have a few cheaper single chamber types but again that's not a big deal as they fit securely in the stoppers and keep bacteria out. Unfortunately, the supplied rubber stoppers do not fit snugly into the bottle opening. I filled the bottle with all the ingredients, went to insert the cork and found my hand going almost all the way into the bottle. When I released the pressure on the stopper, it began to stretch. Even with the lock inserted, the cork does not close the bottle. It literally just sits on top of the bottle. Any tipping impact or pressure and the stopper will fall out. I'd rather seal the book on the bottle. But since I need to fit an airlock and the ingredients are already mixed, I don't have time to wait for another suitable alternative. I leave it in the corner until I buy some balloons. At this time I cannot recommend this product. If you only need 1 gallon glass bottles and want to use the bottle sealing method, this product is for you.
