Typical cheap shock absorber
Paint wears off when exposed to Brake-Clean, fasteners are cheap and rust easily. They are advertised as "gas dampers" so I think there is no oil in the damping system. And I'm assuming they're called "Mono-Max" because for the list price you only get ONE shock. I wouldn't buy them again but I haven't found anyone selling a quality shock absorber.
