These DVDs are just what the doctor ordered for recording the desired TV program or video. Like other DVDs, they reliably support dual playback, but you risk losing data in faster modes. This is a common problem with all DVDs. For those who use DVD-R or DVD+R, the DVD+RW is much closer to the old VCR in terms of utility and portability. With 'R' DVDs, if you switch a partially burned disc to another player/recorder you risk losing some or all of your data. With RW, you can take the disc out, put it back in the recorder after a few days, even months, and continue recording and playback. Sony has made a name for itself with quality and these discs won't disappoint.
