I replaced the latch at my parents house with a Kwikset keyboard. As it was a color change from what they had I needed a door knob. Mom wanted such a pen and it was the best option for the price. Because Kwikset's colors match between product lines, it looks great. Easy enough to install if you can read the instructions. The warranty on Kwikset is amazing. Use it for a decade or two. If the surface is scratched or the mechanical parts fail (but not the electronic parts of the keyboard), it will be replaced. When the range has been discontinued you will receive something more up to date, but this may mean the size and shape are different. which in some cases requires a small repaint. Great guarantee again.
