Review on Hausse 13-Foot 2-Story Retractable Fire Escape Ladder by Jared Coleman

After looking at other escape stairs I bought this one from Hausse, it fits perfectly on the windowsill in our upstairs bedroom, the strap design is well stitched and secured. However, as another reviewer pointed out, the aluminum standoffs that lie next to the house have very sharp edges, I had to go through them one at a time with a wire brush to remove anything that might cut into the skin. this is probably typical for every rope ladder. Overall I'm very happy I bought this emergency ladder, but I would feel a little more confident descending if it were a few inches wider and a lot less springy.
